About:

TK. Overeducated and shambolic writerling desperately trying to repackage teenage angst for the cloistered elite.

I also cook occasionally.

Work is work, and there are bucketloads of it my lovelies, so just a short one today.

Song of the moment: Set the Fire to the Third Bar, Snow Patrol feat Martha Wainwright.
TV Show of the moment: Dollhouse of course. Eliza Dushku in tight leather trousers one episode and librarian glasses in another? Mmmmhmmm. Not to mention, Felicia Day in all her joygasm inducing glory.
Band of the Moment: Currently enjoying a Clinic phase in preparation for their new album. Yum.

Poem of the Moment: One of my own creation, composed in the Centre Pompidou inspired by Sigalit Landau's (does she know Julia?!?!?!) Barbed Wire Hula Hoop. A few days ago, however, it was And One for My Dame by the incomparable Anne Sexton.

Here's my, as yet untitled, little musing:

Are they young men?
Are they old men?
Watching the way she
Turns. Turns.
Watching the way she
Burns and freezes
Bruised and bleeding.
Burn, burn
Joan-in-the-Fire
Strap down your breasts,
they'll raise you higher
Jack-in-the-Green knows
you're no liar.
