Whew!
Okay, politics binge is over. Well, it's not, because I have a Politics exam in, oh... 20 hours.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.
Ahem. Freakout over.
On the non-pol front, life is okay. There are some lovely (if utterly implausible) rumours about me going round which make me out to be significantly braver than I actually am, so hey, I'm not complaining.
Today, standing at a bus stop, a group of boys in bright blue full body skin suit things walked past. An elderly lady looked at them. They looked back, with their uniform blank blue faces. It was uncannily like something out of Doctor Who, any moment now one or the other was going to hiss poison gas.
Instead, something far worse happened. As seamlessly as if it had been planned, one of the boys moved forwards, rubbed his crotch and gyrated at the old lady, and then stepped smartly back into the group.
Once they were safely out of sight, I snorted, and the woman gave me the foulest of foul looks imaginable.
I had to walk around behind the bus shelter.
Anyhoo, I find myself bookless for the first time in a long time- at least, I've exhausted my list of fiction, though I'm still slogging my way through Aristotle and Xenophon on Democracy and Oligarchy. Funtimes. (sadly, geek that I am, I'm actually finding it quite interesting).
So, I'm appealing to you. My reading list will need bulking up after exams, and I'm open to suggestions. Anything, my friends, but Austen, Hardy or Ian McEwan. Email's in the sidebar.
