Minutiae as per usual:
- Caroline Quentin, formerly Jonathan Creek's Maddie, is the new Marks and Sparks spokesperson. The words 'how the mighty have fallen' barely cover it.
- Met friends who inhabit that curious gap-in-generations between my parents and my own for lunch style escapades in Russell Square. I had v manly chicken. The other male participant lost macho points by ordering a latte, and needless to say yours truly didn't let him get away with it. Slightly spoiled the affected machismo by cooing over a jumper in French Connection on the way back. Shh! I won't tell if you won't.
- My father's hair is once again suspiciously black.
- Considering getting a new piece of kit. Boys and toys I'm sure you'll say, but I have techie needs! Not down with Apple, and anyway IPads are extortionate, so I'm browsing alternatives. Anyone with suggestions, contact via the usual channels, though with the trouble it's being I'm tempted to blow the whole lot on cowl necked T-Shirts and boots from All Saints.
- Considering leaving Facebook for a while. My inner hermit is pining for some digital isolation after the party season.
