Why is your blog called Minutae, when it's spelled minutiae?
Minutiae (pronounced min-yoo-shi-uh)- Small details or intricacies. Irrelevant or trifling matters.
Minutae (pronounced min-yoo-tye)- The name of a fictional Seer (name based on minutiae) who recorded her visions for the heroine Serapha to find in a long dead webcomic that the Ex and I used to be fanatical about.M'kay?

How old are you exactly?
Okay, yes both this question and the last were from someone I don't know IRL. All together now, "STALKER!" And by the by, I'm old enough to smoke (though I don't) and young enough to not remember Maggie Thatcher's premiership.
What's your political position/affiliation/identity?
I've ignored a few emails with this question for a while, and I don't think I ever explicitly stated it on the Soapbox. Generally speaking, my ultimate ideal is an anarchic society, although I'm not stupid enough to think that such a society could actually function, because not everyone thinks like me.
Thus, I'm mostly a socialist, although there are aspects of socialism I dislike extremely. In a general election I'd most likely vote Lib Dem.
I like:
- State run health services, armies, and schools.
- Non compulsory secondary and tertiary education.
- Legalisation of non coerced prostitution and all positions associated with it, and government regulated brothels and escort agencies.
- Heavy taxation on prostitution.
- Legalisation of cannabis, and government regulated/government produced cannabis to ensure quality and protect the livelihoods of people involved in the manufacture of cannabis.
- Heavy taxation on cannabis.
- Heavier taxation on alcohol and tobacco.
- A voting age of 16.
- Joining the Euro.
- Nuclear disarmament.
